WHAT HAPPENS IN THE FIRST SESSION?

I teach couples practical, action-oriented tools for communication and compassion. Couples therapy can be fun and transformational. My goal is to help you to see positive change right away.

REIGNITING THE SPARK

Starting couples counseling may seem like a daunting task, however reigniting the spark between you and your loved one is the best investment you can make in your happiness.

Research continually proves that your romantic relationship impacts your overall happiness more than any other factor in your entire life.

NOBODY DESERVES TO BE UNHAPPY
While no couple is perfect, nobody deserves to be unhappy with the one they love. Couples counseling is in most cases the best way to rebuild a relationship and to fall back in love.

MY APPROACH
My work is grounded in Positive Psychology as well as the Gottman Method, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Buddhism, Gestalt, and the wisdom traditions.

THE IMPORTANCE OF COMMUNICATION
The three most important qualities for effective communication are: respect, openness, and persistence.

A couple’s vision emerges from a process of reflection and inquiry. It requires both people to speak from the heart about what really matters to each.
